When I travel, I seek destinations where I can go on excursions, meet new people, be immersed in the culture, and feel safe as a Black woman traveling solo.
The Middle East has always been one of my favorite regions to explore and Jordan had always been on my bucket list because I’d heard not only of its world wonders but the world-class hospitality of the people who live there.
On this trip, I had more once-in-a-lifetime experiences than I can even count AND I felt extremely safe the entire time. Again: as a Black, solo female traveler, that's an incredibly important and sometimes difficult thing to find!
With that in mind, here's my 10-day Jordan Itinerary!

I was born in California but moved around often thanks to my parents—dad was in the military, mom was a travel agent. Thanks to my nomadic childhood I became confident in navigating this world (even as a young, Black, curly-haired sassy little girl!)
At age 17 I went on my first solo trip to backpack Iceland. At age 21 I studied abroad in Dubai, UAE for 9 months. And by age 24 had completely abandoned my budding engineering career to pursue my dream of being a full-time travel influencer!
Now I have experience in 50+ countries and 6 continents, have accumulated 800,000 followers, and have a lifetime of tips, trips, stories, and recommendations to share.
I love helping others see the world. I love helping people explore past the first page of Google. And I love turning travel bucket lists into exciting stories to impress your friends and family at the dinner table.
