Reporting internship with the Wall Street Journal
Deadline: December 18, 2020
The Wall Street Journal’s reporting internships in Europe are designed for students who intend to pursue a career in journalism. We are looking for interns to work in the London bureau.
The 10-week internship program offers hands-on work experience, one-on-one mentorship, and tailored training sessions. Interns are treated like full-time staff members and are encouraged to pitch their own stories and projects. Previous interns have reported front-page news, created interactive graphics, edited photo projects, wrote colorful features, covered breaking news, produced long-form narrative podcast episodes, curated and published our journalism across platforms, and much more.
Summer internships take place between June and September, though start dates can be flexible in certain circumstances. Interns are paid the local equivalent of $900 per week and are helped with the cost of public transportation.
