Adventure writing contest for your chance to win adventure gear and a National Parks pass
Who: 18+, Legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia
Deadline: April 30, 2022
Recreation.gov is seeking stories about adventures that touched your heart, made you laugh and created a memorable experience that will last a lifetime.Â
They are awarding prizes such as a National Parks Annual Passes and nearly $4,000 in REI gift cards to winners of this Outdoor Adventure Writing Contest to help them gear up for their next adventure!

There is no purchase necessary and there is no application fee. Each submission must contain one (1) but no more than two (2) of the following categories:
- Traditions (Old and New)
- RV/Campervans
- Family Trips
- Activities and Adventure
To be eligible, entries must also be:
- Written in the first person
- Between 900-3,500 words
- Depicting an event occurring between 1/1/2020- 4/30/2022 on land or waterways managed by one of the Federal Recreation Agencies
